BayState Savings Bank was established in 1895. The original logo was a full silhouette of the minuteman statue in Concord Massachusetts. For the redesign, the bank wanted to maintain its identity with the revolutionary figure but update its brand to be more relevant and modernized. Inspired by icon logos like Liberty Mutual, Fidelity and the New England Patriots, I developed this modernized illustration of the statue to create a trusted, strong financial symbol. The holding shape suggests a coin, the engraving lines contribute energy and motion, and the icon works in positive or reverse.
